So what is The espresso guide?
When ever i go to a new city i allways set out to find the best espresso bar around, excited to get a taste of a
brand i havent tasted before or get served a perfect cup of my favourite blend. Unfortunately its not so easy when you are new to a place, or if the city you live in is big.
This site is, thanks to you all, the internets largest searchable index of great espresso bars in cities over the globe.
Share your experiences
When ever you have been to a great place you just add the coffee bar to the database, giving others a chance to visit it as well. The next time you go somewhere you will hopefully find the place to get your espresso here.
Find the best of the best
In addition to all the great bars visitors add to the site all the bars around the world who have reached the World Barista Championship can be found on The espresso guide.

The espresso guide is here for you and me. To make sure that it grows not only bigger but also better it needs your opinion. Drop xpressivo a mail any time :).
About the Google ads
On the most popular pages on The Espresso Guide you will find Google ads. These help me to cover the basic costs for the site. I choose Google ads because they really add a value for the visitor in the sence that they can find other usefull coffee related sites etc. Also i have some banners pointing to my Espresso Gear collection. This is because i used to have a shop on The Espresso Guide and people still ask for information on my products. Also i am of course a bit proud of my stuff :)
The guide has never and will never be a commercial project.
A word about missuse
The Espresso Guide is NOT a way for owners or coffee companies to advertise. Bars should be added to the site only by "regular" visitors who like the quality and service offered by a bar. If you run a coffee company or is an agent for such a company, please do not add the bar. Let the customers have their say.
Why reviews might be removed
Remember that The Espresso Guide is a guide to good espresso bars. If everyone started posting information on places they thought where bad this site would loose its purpose. Also, a bar can ask to be removed if they feel that the information posted on the site is bad for their business (which of course depends on the reviews and comments).
Important point, comments can always of course be negative, this is how the site keeps its balance.
Enjoy,
xpressivo
